Where you fit in
Our Systems Operations Engineers are highly involved and essential to each part of our business. From designing and implementing new solutions, with a focus on repeatability, efficiency, security, and reliability through to identifying, analysing and driving through improvements in our core systems, we take end to end ownership of issues from point of identification to complete resolution.
At BetVictor your skills will be complimented with the latest tech and our projects will keep you challenged and motivated. You will find yourself communicating and collaborating with our other core teams in addition to business functional teams and third-party vendors. We will look to you to become our SME with our storage and backup technologies and to provide support to our production in a high energy yet flexible environment.

Whilst the above is just a snapshot of what we use, we would be looking for you to contribute your technical expertise and be willing to evolve your skillset with the goal of maintaining a highly resilient, scalable, and efficient operation.
Who you are
You’ll bring with you a lot of experience and a background in a similar industry, especially highly transactional fast-moving environments. Intuitiveness, time management skills and the ability to manage change will help you a lot, along with being adaptable and willing to learn new skills and technologies.
Whilst not essential if you have previous experience with CI/CD and Docker / K8’s or orchestration tools such as Terraform or Salt this would welcomed along with an understanding of cloud concepts or knowledge of specific cloud providers would be useful, along with DevOps procedures.
Our team
This role will report directly into our Head of Sysops, and you will be working with colleagues in a multi-cultural working environment and so you’ll need to be a good team player, with excellent communication skills.
How we hire
- Initial chat with one of our Talent Acquisition Team
- A technical background/experience interview with our Head of Systems Operations and one of the current team
- A second stage interview focusing on role specific experience and possibly a lab and to answer any final questions
Following this we will aim to deliver an outcome and feedback to you as soon as possible.
