Description

We are BetVictor, one of the world’s largest independent Sports Betting and Online Gaming brands and an industry leader in betting innovation with customers in over 150 different countries.

We’re data driven with software at our core. Our world class developers and engineers write immaculate scalable code to support the growth of our brands worldwide. We are on a quest to find a like-minded QA Engineer to join us and work alongside our existing Developers and Software Engineers in our fantastic Budapest offices.

Where you fit in

You will be joining a mobile development team and using the latest tech you will be working to help maintain, and improve our expanding test suite, and provide a reliable safety net for our releases during regression and integration testing.

All of this is necessary to provide the best possible native experience across a growing suite of apps. Our projects will keep you challenged and motivated and push you towards improving yourself as a QA Engineer by learning with and from other leaders across the organisation and via your own directed self-learning.

Challenges you will be working on

You will be responsible for testing specific features of our mobile apps in all of their different variants and locales, focusing on the end user experience and product specification but not so much on APIs.

Daily you will find yourself carrying out manual testing as well as participating, writing, extending, maintaining, and running automated tests. Additionally, you will be collaborating with our product, development, and business teams to identify appropriate test coverage during feature, integration, and regression stages.

You will also be quick to perform impact assessment on proposed changes to ensure that all dependencies, issues, and risk have been correctly identified and are proactively monitored and managed.

Who you are?

Using all your QA Engineering experience, you will be someone able to look at the big picture and provide a balance against developer focus on technical implementation, using agile test matrix as a guide. Your test tasks and stories are planned and executed like development tasks and stories, and you automate tests that can be reused on every change.

Daily you will be someone that is comfortable collaborating within the team and participating in scrums, sprint planning meetings, sprint demos, retrospectives, and any other team activities.

You will need to be a generally thoughtful, analytical problem-solver that can add a unique perspective to the team in terms of identifying potential roadblocks and dependencies early in the process.

Having the ability to work independently and and being inventive is key, and it is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills along with a hunger to learn, share knowledge, and thrive in an energising environment.
