Could you be our next Head of Operations?

Purpose of the Role:

The Head of Operations in is responsible for overseeing and managing a wide range of critical operational functions within the organisation. This role involves overseeing affiliate operations, operational resilience, promotion operations, and operation project delivery. The primary objective is to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of these operations while maintaining a focus on resilience and delivering projects on time and within budget.

The Head of Operations in BVGroup is a pivotal role in a dynamic and ever-evolving department. The ideal candidate should possess quick thinking abilities and be capable of making prompt decisions while taking accountability for their actions. This position requires and individual who thrives under pressure and has the capacity to think on their feet, managing teams with diverse skillsets and seamlessly transitioning between various subjects. It requires always maintaining a calm and clear-headed demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Affiliate Operations: Develop and implement strategies to enhance affiliate partnerships, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management in line with the current risk matrix.

Monitor affiliate performance and ensure that affiliates adhere to company standards, policies, and regulations.

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align affiliate strategies with overall business goals.

Operational Resilience: Develop and maintain operational resilience strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity in the face of disruptions.

Monitor and assess potential operational risks and vulnerabilities and take proactive measures to address them.

On going reviews and improvements of KPI’s and SLAs across the whole of BVGroup to encourage and maintain a customer centric approach to customer and affiliate contacts.

Promotion Operations: Oversee the planning and execution of company promotions via the CPBT and ensure that they are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.

Project Delivery: Take responsibility for operations project delivery by helping scope requirements and assess the likely benefits. Participate in designing operational systems that enhance workflows and consistently review whether we are operating at peak efficiency or if improvements are necessary.

Actively look for areas that require improvements and make suggestions about how to improve and then implement the changes.

Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of professionals responsible for affiliate operations, operational resilience and promotion operations as well as any other operational areas that may require support in the future.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Develop and manage budgets for the various operational functions under your remit.

Ensure efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective management of operations.

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications: 

Experience: Significant experience in operational roles with an ability to understand processes and stand back and review them objectively, also experienced in negotiated with suppliers and making comparisons between different vendors,

Customer Focus: This role is for someone with a desire to deliver excellent customer service and an ability to inspire a team to respond to customers in a professional and efficient manner, empowering the team to deal with complex issues.

Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of gaming regulations, age verification requirements, and industry best practices.

Management Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff, set strategic direction, and allocate resources effectively.

Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, risk assessment, and problem-solving to make informed decisions across the whole of the operations function in BV Group.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the company.

This role is based in our spacious Gibraltar office, here you will be provided with hardware and access to the latest software and be surrounded by like-minded people that will help you grow professionally and personally.

Although the role will predominantly be a Monday to Friday role when workload is heavy the whole management team will be expected to work to help pick up shortfall in SLA’s and ensure customers are receiving responses within the expected SLA’s.
