Engagement Executive (Mandarin) | Gibraltar | On-site

We now need a Mandarin speaking Engagement Executive to be responsible for managing the content and customer interaction with existing BetVictor Asia products across multiple channels. Ensuring that content is accurate and optimal customer journey is offered.

The role will collaborate cross functionally with Commercial Teams, Product, Creative and Technology teams to ensure strategy alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the optimization of content display for both mobile and desktop
  • Proactively develop and grow the display channel, trialling new opportunities and formats as well as strategy optimising.
  • Produce relevant, topical daily boosts, banners and content for the Asia audience.
  • Educate the wider team on the trends in the Online Display arena for both Mobile and Desktop
  • Ensuring that when possible that any opportunity is taken to tag and measure any activity
  • Implement personalisation strategies based on a data driven approach
  • Responsibility for the end-user experience as it is influenced by our content management systems, ensuring that all customer facing content is dynamically managed and the best user experience is always provided, to drive engagement and ultimately revenue.
  • To devise a long-term view of materially significant sporting events that will require a standalone creative approach and to brief and lead that process from idea phase through to end-user experience.
  • To align and work alongside the Brand & Creative teams to ensure that our customers are presented with graphical materials that always reflect our brand and style guidelines.
  • To pro-actively analyse global betting trends to ensure that these trends are factored into the agreed strategy.
  • To ensure that all content is accurately and efficiently translated and correctly prioritized.
  • Collaborate with internal sportsbook teams to optimize Event Creation, to improve our customer experience and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Represent the needs of the Display Team at management meetings and prioritize a roadmap for improvements to Sportsbook Display tools (CMS tools, Translation tools, Imagery tools, UX improvements etc.)
  • Maintain close relationships with multiple departments across the business particularly CRM, CS, Product, Trading and BI - raising issues and change requests where needed.
  • Troubleshoot any customer facing content, event creation or management issues and general Sports Display related issues that arise, reporting to the appropriate team as needed.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum a Diploma in Business or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience within Gaming industry
  • Strong knowledge on Asia betting trends with a sharp understanding of customer-facing priorities.
  • Strong command of Mandarin in written & communications required; good level in English is acceptable.
  • Must be familiar with most MS Office software
  • Ability in managing project with a ‘can-do’ attitude is critical for success in this role.
  • Analytical with an affinity for numbers and Excel
  • Discipline, eager to learn and explore insights, and have an inquisitive mind to question how things can be bettered.
  • Attention to detail and meticulous
  • Any experience working with content management systems (CMS) & graphic design tools would be advantageous.
  • Work as part of a 7-day week unit, with a flexible approach to shift patterns including weekends. Hours are likely to coincide with the needs of the Asia Business (early starts / nights)
