Product Owner (Payments) | Gibraltar | On-site

In this Product Owner role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Platforms, the Head of Core Payments, and a wider stakeholder’s group to define and deliver the Payments Product roadmap.

You will take ownership of customer-facing and system tools-related developments from your area of expertise and contribute to the definition of the overall product strategy, produce business cases, establish requirements, and coordinate product design, roadmaps, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Know our product inside out – Become the expert in your product area: know how the Payments products, features and tool’s function, and the technical capabilities and limitations of our systems.
  • Regularly review our Payments Solutions and Cashier journeys across all our brands and channels and identify friction areas and customer pain points.
  • See what’s cool out there – Regularly conduct benchmarking exercises to help create innovative and actionable product ideas. We’re against all eCommerce suppliers out there!
  • Product Design – Together with the project team, define product and tools or to address customer and operational hurdles and to ensure smooth journeys. Ensure that the developments are fully compliant in the jurisdictions they’re intended, that they are in-line with our commercial strategy and can be efficiently supported by our operations team.
  • Do your homework - Incorporate (market, internal) data in your decision-making process. Analyse the impact, identify risks and operational dependencies.
  • Evaluate continuously the projects delivered and produce as requested reports detailing performance KPIs.
  • Analyse and design workflows and business processes within the organization relevant to your area.
