Display Marketing Executive | Gibraltar | Onsite

As the Display Marketing Executive at BVGroup, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimisation of display marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including programmatic advertising, paid social, and in-app advertising.

Working under the guidance of the Senior Display Marketing Executive, you will be focused on implementing campaign strategies, managing budgets, and delivering results that align with BVGroup’s overall marketing goals.

This is a hands-on role that requires someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for digital marketing. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, capable of interpreting data to optimise campaigns and improve performance metrics.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as creative, brand, and data to ensure that campaigns are not only effective but also aligned with BVGroup’s brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution & Management: Execute and manage display marketing campaigns across various channels, including programmatic advertising, paid social, and in-app advertising. Implement campaign plans developed by senior team members, ensuring all elements are properly executed and monitored throughout their lifecycle. Manage the day-to-day operations, including setting up campaigns, monitoring performance, and making necessary adjustments to improve results. 

Optimisation & Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of campaigns, analysing key metrics such as clicks, conversions, and engagement rates. Use data-driven insights to optimise targeting, bidding, and creatives to improve the overall effectiveness of the campaigns. Make real-time adjustments based on performance data to ensure that campaigns are meeting or exceeding set KPIs.

Budget Management: Assist with managing campaign budgets, ensuring that spending is in line with allocated resources. Monitor daily spend levels and ensure campaigns are optimised for maximum return on investment (ROI) while staying within budget constraints. Provide recommendations to senior executives on budget reallocations based on campaign performance. 

Keyword Research & Ad Creation: Conduct research and develop ads that align with campaign objectives. Collaborate with the Acquisition Managers for each brand to ensure that we use the most compelling, targeted ads for different platforms and audiences, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and goals. Assist in the creation of A/B tests to determine which ad variations perform best and implement findings to improve results.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teams such as creative, brand, and data analytics to ensure cohesive execution of campaigns. Provide input on the design and messaging of creative assets and ensure that they are optimised for display channels. Share campaign insights and performance data with the wider team to inform future strategies. 

Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular performance reports for senior team members, detailing key insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Use reporting tools to track campaign success and provide actionable insights to improve performance. Ensure that all reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.

Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitor activity within the digital display landscape to identify opportunities for BVGroup. Provide insights into industry trends, competitor strategies, and new tools or technologies that could enhance the effectiveness of BVGroup’s display marketing efforts.

Adherence to Best Practices: Ensure that all campaigns are set up and optimised in line with industry best practices. This includes maintaining proper account structures, setting up tracking pixels, and following proper bidding strategies. Stay informed on the latest industry developments and apply this knowledge to improve campaign performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, specifically within display advertising, PPC, or programmatic advertising.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms such as Google Display Network, Facebook Ads, and DSPs (Demand-Side Platforms).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to optimise campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, and other reporting tools.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimisation techniques.
  • Knowledge of the sports betting, gaming, or entertainment industry is an advantage but not required.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
