BVGroup is a leading online betting and casino business powered by proprietary technology. Over the past few years, we have successfully launched multiple white-label solutions in the UK and Canada.
We are now looking to build up a new revenue stream as a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider and we aim to empower third-party operators with our cutting-edge BV:360 platform.
Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Head of Business Development to spearhead the launch and growth of our SaaS BV:360 offering. Our platform consists of a best-in-class Player Account Management, end-to-end Sportsbook solution, eGaming Suite, Rewards Engine, Compliance Engine, Payments Hub, CRM Tool, a Customer Flows Tool, as well as a sophisticated Brand Configurator that provides full flexibility to manage our customers' brands end-to-end.
This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in building sales pipelines, creating impactful sales documents, and negotiating commercial agreements.
Reporting directly to the Director of B2B, the Head of Business Development will be instrumental in shaping the go-to-market strategy and driving new revenue streams for BVGroup’s SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients for BVGroup’s SaaS platform, identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to drive business growth.
- Develop high-impact sales materials, including tailored decks, presentations, and proposals, to effectively communicate the value of BV:360.
- Represent BVGroup at sports betting and e-gaming conferences, managing sales stands and engaging directly with prospective clients to foster relationships.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a business development team to drive pipeline growth and achieve strategic SaaS revenue goals.
- Collaborate with the Director of B2B to create competitive pricing strategies for the SaaS platform and explore innovative business models leveraging the platform’s capabilities.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation.
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges. Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to align on client requirements and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within SaaS for the betting and gaming industries.
- Proven track record of successfully closing B2B deals and building long-term client relationships.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and licensing structures in betting and gaming.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to create impactful sales documents.
- Negotiation and deal-structuring expertise.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
