The role will support the BV Group's Regulatory Compliance function to ensure that all activities are in accordance with our Gibraltar licence obligations, along with any future emerging market licensing opportunities
The role will be varied and involve maintaining BV Group's compliance activities, being the key point of contact for compliance queries/escalations, be the Compliance lead on technical, regulatory and product analysis, and above all ensure BV Group continues to act in accordance with their relevant licensing obligations.
The successful candidate will also be required to liaise with other members of the wider compliance function daily, build strong relationships with other teams throughout the group and our external stakeholders

The role requires the post holder to build and develop an effective team that takes ownership of its responsibilities, seeks to improve in all areas and provides appropriate advice in the appropriate manner. The post holder will set clear departmental KPI’s, ensuring they are met and reported on. They will also ensure that departmental reporting is accurate and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Assist and support the wider Compliance team in ensuring compliance is being adhered to throughout the business
- Ensure compliance with licensing objectives relating to customer facing components of the Groups product and internal customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure that the relevant and key stakeholders are well informed of current licensing requirements, future intentions and that they continue to be engaged with all compliance activities.
- Anticipate regulatory changes and keep up to date with all latest guidance, best practice, and legislation.
- Analyse current process to define areas for improvement in relevant compliance teams.
- Accountable for providing advice, insight and guidance on current legislation and horizon scan for future development.
- Work with Organisational Development team to ensure that Compliance Training for the jurisdiction is of high quality and delivered annually.
- Ensure that policies, processes, and procedures are communicated to relevant internal stakeholders.
- The management of all regulatory reporting requirements for Gibraltar and any other newly formed or existing markets,
- Accountable for construction and submission of consultations or other significant documentary responses to external stakeholders our gambling regulators and government bodies.
- Work in collaboration with the wider compliance function and relevant business areas to ensure BV Group is best placed to respond to consultations and any mandatory regulatory responses that form part of our licence obligations.
- Work closely with Compliance operation functions to ensure that the processes being undertaken are aligned with supporting SOPs and policies, and regulatory guidance/legislation is complied with.
- Develop the effectiveness of compliance activities throughout the business, making suggestions where applicable for discussion whilst ensuring the senior stakeholders are aware of short comings or improvements.
