Product Owner - Regulatory Compliance & Fraud | Gibraltar | On-site

Purpose of the role: 

We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Product Owner to drive the implementation of regulatory requirements in a creative manner. Working with the Head of Regulatory Compliance Products, you will take ownership of compliance product initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximise growth in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the strategic roadmap for the Regulatory Compliance product, ensuring alignment with business objectives, partner needs, and market trends. 
  • Transform complex regulatory requirements into user-friendly products and operational specifications.  
  • Lead usability improvements and streamline processes for enhanced operator experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations teams to develop scalable processes that streamline the integration of regulatory products into operations, ensuring ease of use and maximum compliance.  
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency.  
  • Partner with internal teams to align on requirements, prioritise enhancements, and drive impactful solutions.  
  • Work closely with the feature team and assigned ADM to manage end-to-end feature developments and integrations.  
  • Act as a liaison to gather customer feedback and translate into actionable improvements.  
  • Use data insights to inform decisions and measure success.  
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Design team to ensure seamless user experience and interface design.  
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements across key jurisdictions (e.g. UK, Gibraltar, Ontario) to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry guidelines.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear specifications. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Knowledge of licence regulations is an advantage.  
  • Understanding of KYC and risk processes and tools is a plus.  
  • Expertise in managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.  
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the desire to drive innovation and deliver exceptional user experiences.  
  • Technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams.
