Acquisition Manager (talkSPORT BET & Betano) | Gibraltar | On-site

Purpose of the Role

This is a commercially led role, focused on driving new customer acquisition with profitability at the core. The Acquisition Manager will lead the acquisition strategy across two challenger brands – talkSPORT BET and Betano UK – using both paid and non-paid digital channels.

The role requires strong marketing and commercial experience, including performance marketing, budget ownership, and direct team management. You will also collaborate with our Sponsorships and Media team around the ATL activity.

You’ll be expected to make revenue generating decisions, working closely with internal teams and external partners to maximise ROI and scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Own and execute the acquisition strategy across multiple brands with commercial ROI as one of the key metrics.
  • Lead and manage the acquisition function across daily, weekly, and monthly cycles.
  • Drive commercial performance using insights from marketing analytics, campaign tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Manage and direct both paid and non-paid digital marketing teams to ensure growth.
  • Optimise campaigns through budget allocation, audience definition, and conversion-focused creative and promo strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Creative & Brand, Promo Ops, Digital Marketing) to align on campaign execution.
  • Coordinate closely with external partners on strategy definition, execution, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain acquisition reporting dashboards, ensuring all activity is performance tracked and reported to commercial standards.

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and commercial modelling.
  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, budgeting, and data analysis.
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on profitability and ROAS methodology.
  • Strong organisational skills – able to manage multiple streams of work and timelines.
  • Confident communicator, able to translate performance insights into actions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in both reporting and budgeting.
