  • Collaborate on and execute seamless migrations from on-prem to cloud environments.
  • Maintain uptime, performance and capacity standards for hybrid networking environments.
  • Drive efficiency through automation and standardised deployment processes.

  • Partner closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and rapid issue resolution.
  • Provide out-of-hours support as part of a rotational schedule.

Must-Have Experience & Skills:

Expert knowledge of TCP/IP and deep troubleshooting experience across IP protocols.

Strong proficiency in BGP (public and private AS scenarios), with hands-on experience in traffic engineering using BGP attributes.

Practical expertise with key networking hardware, including:

  • Arista switches
  • Juniper MX routers and SRX firewalls
  • Palo Alto
  • Cisco Nexus 9k and IOS / IOS-XE platforms

  • Proven experience in managing complex hybrid environments involving cloud and physical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with core networking protocols and technologies such as EVPN VXLAN, Spine & Leaf topologies, HSRP/VRRP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, VPNs, and NetFlow.
  • Strong automation skills using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines with Git.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role within hybrid or cloud-first environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking on GCP, AWS, Azure and OCI.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate ideas, lead initiatives and collaborate effectively.

Differentiators:

  • Certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, PCNE (GCP), or equivalent vendor certifications.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container networking.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to deep packet inspection, keyword filtering, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on knowledge of time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB) or analytics engines (e.g., Elasticsearch).
