Marketing Compliance Manager | Gibraltar | On-site

Purpose of the role:

The objective of this role is to support the Head of Compliance (GB) with ensuring the licensing objectives in relation to offering gambling services in a fair and open and socially responsible way are upheld. Working closely with the Marketing team to ensure all customer facing products and propositions are compliant with the prevailing licensing obligations and regulatory codes and consistent with BVGroup policy and risk mitigation frameworks.

Forming a key part of this role, the Marketing Compliance Manager will conduct regular reviews of digital acquisition content, promotions, CRM communications, terms and conditions and social media content both before and after promotions are implemented.


What you will be doing:

  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable licensing objectives, with particular emphasis on delivering BVGroup Gaming’s gambling services in a fair, transparent, and responsible manner to customers.  
  • Maintain ongoing adherence to all Great Britain Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP).  
  • Ensure all marketing communications, both from BVGroup Gaming and affiliate partners, comply with the relevant codes and regulations, including but not limited to the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) Code, Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidelines, and Industry Group for Responsible Gambling (IGRG) standards.  
  • Conduct periodic reviews of promotional activity, including terms and conditions templates, creative assets, and digital and social media content, both prior to campaign launch and throughout the promotional lifecycle.  
  • Deliver tailored training to all marketing and content teams to reinforce understanding of marketing regulations, regulatory responsibilities, and to foster a culture of compliance across all gambling-related advertising.  
  • Challenge the status quo of our marketing processes to maintain full adherence with our Compliance standards  
  • Support the development of a competitive, market-relevant marketing proposition whilst safeguarding compliance with applicable regulations. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of industry developments and provide actionable recommendations to the marketing team to improve performance while remaining fully compliant.  
  • Oversee all marketing channels and website content to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and responsible gambling messaging standards.  
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry guidance, ensuring timely communication of required actions to relevant BVGroup stakeholders.  
  • Maintain and manage a comprehensive Regulatory Repository, capturing guidance materials, regulatory updates, and industry news relevant to Marketing Compliance.  
  • Conduct regular compliance monitoring activities to ensure policy and procedural adherence across the BVGroup Marketing function.  
  • Lead and develop the Marketing Continuous Control Monitoring Programme, providing insight and feedback to senior stakeholders, including Personal Management Licence (PML) holders and the Senior Leadership Team.  
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Marketing and Regulatory Compliance teams, ensuring effective two-way communication and alignment on all compliance matters.  
  • You will need to have an outstanding understanding of LCCP codes of practice and Licensing Objectives and related regulation and the ability to communicate these requirements clearly and concisely through training workshops to the marketing teams.  
  • You will be well versed in stakeholder management and be able to provide actionable and consistent advice to a range of business teams.
