Purpose of the role:
We want you to join us as Head of Emerging Markets, in our Gibraltar office where you will be primarily responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the Group’s core emerging markets business, defined as all B2C and B2B brands operated via the Group’s licences in Gibraltar, Germany, Ontario and Malta, as well as future business in newly regulated markets. This role will have full P&L responsibility and report to the Managing Director of Core Markets.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Day-to-day management of all commercial teams in the business's Core Emerging Markets as defined above and across functions that include brand differentiation and marketing strategy, customer acquisition, registration-to-FTD conversion, retention, engagement and content display.
- Responsibility for ensuring that all commercial teams are best positioned to succeed in an environment that values both business and personal growth and continuous technology-led innovation.
- Full P&L owner for all Core Emerging Markets regions and brands, including the creation of all annual business plans and quarterly forecasts as well as regular reporting of monthly variances against those plans.
- Depending on the region, creation and execution of each brand's marketing strategy may require close collaboration with and support from the centralised Digital Marketing team, the specifics of which shall be defined, monitored and measured by this role.
- Responsibility for creation, monitoring and measurement of regular OKRs for each region and brand.
- Provide input into the global product development and management strategy to ensure that it meets the requirements of the business's Core Emerging Markets.
Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Significant experience in online gambling commercial or product roles.
- Demonstrable experience in commercial or product roles with either full P&L or revenue responsibility.
- Executive presence with the confidence and competence to not only provide input to but to consistently add value and insights in executive-level environments.
- Financial literacy and presentation skills required to both manage and analyse performance but also to clearly articulate these concepts at an executive level.
- Fluent in English - both written and spoken - with excellent grammar and presentation skills required.
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse and potentially remote multi-cultural teams.
